This is the time of year when we all start thinking about Christmas.

Where will we be, who will be with us, how can we create that delicious sense of awe and excitement that we remember from our own childhood and at the same time reach January without suffering from nervous exhaustion and hysterics?

As we look at the blue skies and stunning light of autumn we understand that the evenings are drawing in and we feel the shadow of winter approaching. But at Trelowarren we are proud of the fact that the modern Christmas hasn’t really found us. On Christmas Eve we have candlelit carols in the courtyard with mulled wine and a pizza cooked in the wood fired oven. That sees off the Christmas Eve cooking conundrum, and the walk back to your comfortable luxurious house through unpolluted starlit darkness sets the stage for a memorable Christmas holiday. And during the holiday the beautiful gym is open if you are feeling the need to work off some of the calories; the New Yard Restaurant is open for brunches and dinner; and organic Spiezia treaments are available in our Walled Garden spa. Or you could just put the dog and the children in the car and go for one of those unforgettable winter walks.

Christmas Gifts from the Walled Garden Spa

Children are very welcome at Trelowarren. Some of the houses have a 2nd TV in the childrens room.
